Should we pay Texas legislators more than $7200 per year?Absolutely not! $14,400 dollars is a very hefty salary for someone who only works 140 days every 2 years.On top of that, legislatures also receive $128 per day that they are in session. These councilmen also receive campaign money often times when they have no one running against them. Where does this money go? To line there pockets of course!
